Dina Mahrouz is a New York–based fashion designer and a graduate of the MFA Fashion Design and Society program at Parsons School of Design. Originally from Iran, she holds a background in Urban Engineering as well as a degree in Fashion and Textile Design. Dina has collaborated with renowned designers and brands across Turkey, Iran, and New York. Her aesthetic merges avant-garde fashion with traditional Iranian craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from her cultural roots and childhood memories of learning hand-stitching and embroidery from her mother. Her work often features fabric manipulation and artisanal techniques that honor her heritage. Dina challenges traditional tailoring through experimental garment construction, creating sculptural pieces that are both dynamic and wearable, characterized by bold volume and geometric forms.
