Hailey Wyatt is multidisciplinary artist and zero-waste fashion designer based in Montreal. Through an embodied and material-first creative process, she explores the intersection of emotional, biological, and ecological topics through textile art. With a background in Microbiology and Immunology, Hailey merges scientific curiosity with creative and technical craft-based expression. Grounded in the belief that waste is a design flaw, her work uses post-consumer textile remnants to create sculptural garments that challenge linear systems of disposability. Often inspired by microbial intelligence, she reimagines waste as a resource for infinite, circular transformation, and sees up-cycling as an act of resistance. Her pieces are made to evolve with the wearer, becoming softer and more beautiful through time.
