I am a multidisciplinary artist working through fashion, film and material experimentation, with a focus on reconstruction and identity. My practice explores how the body carries memory, emotion, and cultural experience, shaped by navigating spaces between Egypt and Canada.
Through draping, resin, and hand manipulation, I design for what is hidden, bringing forward what is often forgotten, suppressed, or left unspoken. I rework materials into garments and objects that act as extensions of the body, using layering, preservation, and distortion to create pieces that exist between strength and vulnerability.
My work engages with protection as both concept and form, questioning how emotional armor is constructed while still holding traces of what it conceals. Each piece functions as a quiet statement, revealing underlying tensions within identity and self-perception.
I aim to create work that resists resolution, inviting reflection on what we carry and choose to hide.
