About the Maker

Meet Aliyah Wallace

Denver

Aliyah Wallace is a Black lesbian artist, upcycler, and creative force dedicated to turning secondhand materials into bold, one-of-a-kind fashion and art. She is the founder of AW Exclusives, a brand that celebrates individuality, rejects fast fashion, and transforms thrifted pieces into wearable statements.

Beyond her work with AW Exclusives, Aliyah is deeply involved in her local creative community. She runs Artists In Sync, an art club that provides affordable skill-sharing opportunities for local artists. When she’s not creating, Aliyah can be found playing in a queer soccer league, exploring Colorado’s coffee scene, hosting games-and-crafts-filled dinner parties, or soaking in the outdoors.

Passionate about queer and sapphic-focused events, Aliyah’s work and life are centered on creativity, community, and celebrating self-expression in all its forms.
